GameSpy has partnered with Epic Games to offer all of GameSpy Technology’s sweet, sweet services to developers using Epic’s Unreal 3 engine for PC and PLAYSTATION 3 games. Your users can now play, communicate and compete together as a single community across both platforms – and you’ll sweat less making it happen.
We’ve done the heavy lifting for you, creating a “GameSpy subsystem” that pre-packages everything you need to get your game online directly into the Unreal 3 engine – just license, connect and go.

Why GameSpy?
While Epic offered a full suite of online functionality to licensees of the Unreal 1 and 2 engines, they decided not to do this for the Unreal 3 engine. They opted instead to focus on core engine development and avoid duplicating others’ efforts. Enter GameSpy – the industry leader in providing online technology to games, to fill the gap.
Platform Availability
GameSpy develops everything with multi-platform use in mind. The full range of tools is available on both PC and PLAYSTATION 3 and can be used to build cross-platform play into your games. GameSpy Technology works for Mac and Linux too – stay tuned for news from Epic on the availability of their engine for those platforms. Flexible solutions are also available for Xbox 360 developers.
We love to talk about making games larger than life. Send us a note.
